José de la Torre, 1987 – 2024

Actor José de la Torre, 37, died after an unnamed illness on Dec. 5; he dropped out of acting this past summer to concentrate on treating his condition. De la Tour costarred in Netflix’s Spanish-language Toy Boy from 2019-21; he also appeared in the telenovela Amar es Para Siempre, and the shows Vis a Vis: El Oasis and Serve and Protect. Born in Spain, de la Tour graduated from the Higher School of Dramatic Art in Málaga, and started his career in the theater. With his TV fame (and his smoldering good looks), he also modeled for various fashion and accessories brands.
