Ron Silverman, 1932 – 2025

Movie and TV producer Ron Silverman, 92, died in July, his family has announced. Silverman wrote for Variety and a handful of TV series before he teamed up with Ted Mann to produce such films and TV series as Stoney Burke, O.K. Crackerby!, Buster and Billie, Lifeguard, Brubaker, Krull, The Last Innocent Man, and Shoot to Kill. Silverman later moved to Oregon, where he worked with the Southern Oregon Public Broadcasting, the Rogue Valley Symphony, and Medford’s performing arts center, the Craterian Theater.
