Brandyn Barbara Artis, 1944 – 2025

Actress and writer Brandyn Barbara Artis, 81, died on March 31. The U.S. Air Force veteran appeared in such films and TV shows as George Lucas’s THX 1138, The Man from Atlantis, The White Shadow, Knots Landing, Dynasty, and General Hospital. She also wrote a play, Sister, Girl, about her battle with breast cancer, as well as a novel, Running Barefoot in Paris. Her husband, jazz drummer Larry Bunker, died in 2005.
