Wrestling super-star and actor Hulk Hogan, 71, died of an apparent heart attack at his Florida home on July 24. Through the wrestling renaissance in the ‘80s and ‘90s, Hogan was one of the top stars. He started acting in the ’80s, and was seen in such films as Rocky III, Gremlins 2, Suburban Commando, Mr. Nanny, and The Ultimate Weapon. He also guested on TV in Suddenly Susan, The Love Boat, Saturday Night Live, The A-Team, Baywatch, Walker Texas Ranger, and Robot Chicken. Hogan was a hard one to figure out: his wrestling persona was a loud-mouthed, bellowing ogre, but he acted the part of a big ol’ Teddy bear when out of the ring. He also made racist remarks, and had the usual sex-tape episode; campaigning for Trump, he accused Kamala Harris of “turning black” for votes, offering to body-slam her. “I have a ton of scars," he said. "I’m not perfect, but it’s about standing up, owning it and moving forward." Of his public image, Hogan added that "People are locked into this one-dimensional view that Hulk Hogan is just a wrestler with a bald head that [sic] screams and body-slams people. They don't realize that I go to soccer games, play frisbee, watch The Lion King and start crying."
