Jon Miyahara, 1941 – 2025

Character actor Jon Miyahara (Superstore), 83, has died, it was announced on Aug. 7. Miyahara played the (mostly) silent Brett, one of the worker bees at the titular sitcom Superstore, from 2015-21. His only other acting credits were in Holding Tight and American Auto. Miyahara’s Superstore castmate Colton Dunn posted that he “was a really awesome guy and as a performer could speak volumes with just a look.”
