Lynne Marie Stewart, the actress who played Miss Yvonne, "The Most Beautiful Woman in Puppetland" on Pee-wee’s Playhouse, died on Feb. 22. She was 78. Stewart met Paul (“Pee-wee”) Reubens and Phil (“Cap’n Carl”) Hartman while they were performing with The Groundlings. The three performed in The Pee-wee Herman Show onstage, and Stewart later joined the cast of TV’s Pee-wee’s Playhouse, and several Pee-wee movies and TV specials, playing the camp, flirtatious Miss Yvonne. She was best-known to younger audiences for her more “kitchen sink” character of Charlie’s mother on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Stewart’s many other credits include American Graffiti, M*A* S*H, CHiPs, Laverne & Shirley, The Jeffersons, Dynasty, Jumpin’ Jack Flash, The Golden Girls, Suddenly Susan, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and Bridesmaids.
