Here I am still in mourning over Campbell’s green pea soup, when Coca-Cola (which owns Minute Maid) announces that they are discontinuing their frozen lemonade, limeaid, orange juice, pink lemonade, and raspberry lemonade in both the US and Canada. "We are discontinuing our frozen products and exiting the frozen can category,” the Juice Lady announced. “With the juice category growing strongly, we're focusing on products that better match what our consumers want." I suppose what the consumers want is salted caramel (whose decision was it to suddenly dump salt into the world’s supply of caramel, anyway?). Frozen juice became popular after WWII—remember how hard it was to pry off the metal top and unpeel the cardboard can? Though they did make for great giant popsicles in the summer. Farewell, frozen juice concentrate! Say hello to the pea soup and Swanson’s canned chicken stew for me!
