Actor Peter Kwong died on May 27 at age 73. The L.A. native was a trained dancer and martial-arts artist; he fought against Asian stereotyping, but all too often was cast as the Kung-Fu master. Among his many vehicles were Wonder Woman, The Greatest American Hero, Manimal, The A-Team, Miami Vice, Big Trouble in Little China, The Golden Child, General Hospital, JAG, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. In addition to acting, Kwong was active behind the scenes, serving on the boards of the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, SAG-AFTRA, and the Committee for Racial Equality of Actors Equity Association.
