Reggie Carroll, ca. 1973 – 2025

Comedian and actor Reggie Carroll, 52, was shot to death in Mississippi on Aug. 20 (a suspect has been taken into custody). Known as “The Knockout King of Comedy,” Carroll toured the US and appeared on TV in Rent & Go and The Parkers. Fellow comic Mo'Nique posted, “This is why I say treat people the best you can because you never know if you'll get a chance to see them again . . . I have no sad tears because all of our time together was amazing.” Carroll himself had posted on his site, “I am a High Energy Comic with a clever Delivery My comedy is centered around my family I am a single father with six Daughters [none of them proofreaders] My Comedy Special will be Called ‘Daddy of The Year.’”
