Robert Kelker-Kelly, 1964 – 2026

Dashingly handsome soap-opera actor Robert Kelker-Kelly, 62, died on Oct. 3; no cause is yet determined. Kelker-Kelly appeared as both Sam Fowler and later Dr. Shane Roberts on Another World, Bo Brady on Days of Our Lives, and Stavros Cassadine on Port Charles and General Hospital. He was also seen in the films and TV series Jack’s Place, Night Sins, Touched By an Angel, Maybe This Time, and Dreams for an Insomniac. When not acting, Kelker-Kelly worked as an aircraft pilot and contract flight instructor. He was married (from 1997-2013) to his Days of Our Lives costar Miriam Parrish. He told NBC of the uncertain world of soaps, “I have been around long enough to realize that people lose their jobs. This is not personal, it's just a fact of soap operas. And, ultimately what it comes down to is keeping the show on the air, keeping the people at the studio working and keeping the audience watching.” Just recently, his Days costar Lisa Rinna made news by writing that he “made my life hell” onset; Kelker-Kelly did not respond to her charges, and now he’s dead, and even more unlikely to.
