Singer Ryan Whyte Maloney, 44, committed suicide at his Las Vegas home on Jan. 28. Maloney was front man for the band Indulge for more than ten years, singing, and playing guitar, violin, cello, and drums. He went solo in the 2010s, recording such songs as "Hillbilly," "Michigan Moonlight," and "Living with No Directions." Maloney appeared on The Voice in 2014, earning a “four-chair turn,” whatever that is, and after his Voice success, he recorded more successful numbers: "Lights," "What's Love Got to Do with It," "Easy," and "Second Chance." Through the early 2020s, he continued to sing and record, as well as writing songs, and as a studio musician/engineer/producer. YouTube shows Maloney to have been a big, burly guy with an unexpected high, clear voice, and good guitar skills.
