Tania Marie Caringi, 1986 – 2025

Fashion model Tania Marie Caringi, 38, died in Rome on May 1 (Italian news sources refer mysteriously to a “rapid illness”). The Michigan-born Caringi was discovered at age 19 while in Italy, and was soon appearing in magazines both impressive (Vogue, Maxim, Esquire, Sports Illustrated) and eyebrow-raising (Mancave Playbabes, Playboy). Mode named her “the most beautiful woman” in 2014 (she was indeed some eyeful). She also walked the runways, and appeared in the music video “Anywhere,” by Kevin Lyttle. Caringi was a smart cookie, investing her modeling paychecks into real estate.
