Soap star Tristan Rogers, 79, died of cancer on Aug. 15. Born in Melbourne, he got his start in Australian TV, and moved to the US in the late ‘70s. Rogers played swashbuckling Robert Scorpio (with times out for death and resurrection) on General Hospital from 1980 till this year. He also played recurring roles in The Bold and the Beautiful, The Young and the Restless, and The Bay, as well as roles in such movies and TV shows as The Love Boat, Hotel, Soulmates, Babylon 5, Raven, The Agency, and Studio City.
