Yorgelis Delgado, 1982 – 2026

Venezuelan TV actress Yorgelis Delgado, 43, was one of the hundreds—possibly thousands—of people killed in that country’s earthquakes on June 24 (her mother also died, though her daughter and father were rescued). Delgado was best-known for her children’s variety show, La Isla de los Tigritos, and its sequels, El Club de los Tigritos and El Super Club de los Tigritos. She got her start as a dancer on the show Mini*Pops, and also appeared in the variety/comedy show Cheverísimo, and several telenovelas, including Entre Tu y Yo, Rugemania, and Gente Nueva, and hosted the show Atómico.
