Elliott Street, 1945 – 2024

Actor Elliott Street, 80, died on June 15 in his home town of Meridian, Miss. From 1970 through 2013, he appeared in such TV shows and movies as The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Mayberry RFD, Hawaii Five-O, Barnaby Jones, The Rockford Files, Love, American Style, The Winds of War, and The Legend of Bagger Vance. Street spent much of his time in Meridian, where he was curator of the Grand Opera House and taught theater and speech at Meridian Community College.
