Huckleberry Fox, 1974 – 2024

Child actor George “Huckleberry” Fox, 50, died on Nov. 3. No cause of death has been announced. Fox appeared in about a dozen films and TV shows in the 1980s-90s, most famously as Debra Winger’s son in Terms of Endearment. He was also seen in Konrad, American Dreamer, Tales from the Darkside, and No Way Home (his 1996 swan song). Fox dropped his Huckleberry and left the show business and earned a Master’s in animal science from Cornell and a doctorate in plant medicine from the University of Florida. He went on to work as a scientist and diplomat of the US Department of Agriculture.
