Colorful socialite Jocelyn Wildenstein, 84, died in Paris on Dec. 31. Jocelyne Périsset
was born in Switzerland and was a gal about town when she met and married art dealer Alec Wildenstein in 1978. After two children and a fraught divorce, Jocelyn became a gay divorcée, blowing through her $2.5 billion divorce settlement by 2018, living on her $900/month. She was best known as a victim of body dysmorphic disorder and plastic surgery syndrome, somehow finding sketchy doctors to transform her into "The Bride of Wildenstein” (most recently, she looked like a $2 Phillip Seymour Hoffman Halloween mask). She recently told Interview magazine that “I have changed a lot. My hair went from very curly to very straight, but I always had stylish, wild hair. And when you look at the pictures of me, some with curly hair, some with exotic hair, some with straight hair, you can see how it completely changes your appearance. Also the way I dress changes how I am seen.”
