Elon Dershowitz, 1961 – 2025

Film producer Elon Dershowitz, 64, died of a stroke on Aug. 17. The son of lawyer Alan Dershowitz (who defended Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein, O.J. Simpson, Claus von Bulow—but we can’t blame his son for that!), Elon began his career as a comic and magician (“Elon the Pretty Good”). He went on to produce such films and TV-movies as Reversal of Fortune (I wonder how his father felt about this von Bulow biopic!), Dream Lover, Wall Street, Talk Radio, Fallen, Class Actions, and The Whole Truth. His family posted that “Those closest to him say that, above all, Elon was defined by kindness, humor, and devotion to family. He believed the highest compliment he could pay someone was to call them ‘kind,’ and he lived by that principle.”
