Gwen Farrell, 1932 – 2026

Actress Gwen Farrell, 93, died in Los Angeles on April 30. The daughter of Lovie Yancey, founder of Fatburger chain of restaurants, Farrell had a brief acting career in the 1970s— she was best known as Nurse Wilson in 26 episodes of M*A*S*H, also playing small roles in Soylent Green, Billy Jack Goes to Washington, Earthquake, The Towering Inferno, Starsky and Hutch, Black Gunn, and Coffy. Farrell was also a boxing referee, the first woman to referee a world title bout.
