Peter Greene, 1965 - 2025

Intense character actor Peter Greene, 60, was found dead in his Manhattan apartment on Dec. 12. No cause of death is yet known. From 1990 through this year, the cadaverous-looking actor played mostly villainous roles, in such films as Pulp Fiction, The Mask, Under Siege 2, The Rich Man’s Wife, Kiss and Tell, Permanent Midnight, Blue Streak, Training Day, Under the Influence, Brothers in Arms, and in the TV series The Black Donnelleys. “Nobody played a bad guy better than Peter,” Greene’s manager Gregg Edwards said. “But he also had, you know, a gentle side that most people never saw, and a heart as big as gold.”
