Malaysian-born British actress Pik-Sen Lim, 80, died on June 9. Lim moved to London as a teen to take acting classes, and got her big break in 1964 as Nurse Kwei-Kim Yen on TV’s Emergency-Ward 10. She also played Captain Chin Lee on three 1971 episodes of Dr. Who, and had recurring roles on The Flaxton Boys, Spearhead, Luo Bao Bei (as Grandma in the animated series), and This Way Up. Lim had a good showcase as a villainess in the Rowan Atkinson James Bond parody Johnny English Reborn (2011). She was married to writer Don Houghton from 1968 till his death in 1991 (he shaped her Dr. Who character for her). Their daughter, Sarah Houghton, is also an actress.
