Robin Kaye, Thomas Deluca, ca. 1955 - 2025

Music supervisor Robin Kaye and her musician husband, Thomas Deluca, both 70, were found shot to death in their Encino home on July 15. A suspect has been apprehended, and police believe their deaths resulted from a burglary gone wrong. Kaye started out working for Waylon Jennings, then for MTM Records, Sound Management and MCA-Universal Records. Then she ran the music licensing department of Polygram Records, before forming her own SyncroniCity artist-management company. SynchroniCity handled music supervision for such shows as American Idol, Lip Synch Battle, Hollywood Game Night, the NAACP Image Awards, The Singing Bee, Miss USA, Miss Universe, and Dance Your Ass Off, among others. Deluca was a singer and songwriter who released such albums as Down to The Wire, Captured, and Street Rock.
